I know this is a few years ago, but I was just perusing around the net and found this. Anyway, I just wanted to say, I really like this look! You have a rather stunning face, and the shaved head brings it into focus. Your long hair was also beautiful, but didn’t do as much for your features. And it’s great that you did it all for a good cause!

honestly you look amazing in that in the first picture look how beautiful your face looks now because of how the whole buzzed look defines your features :o. Are you going to go buzzed again???? you would be committing a crime if you didn’t a crime against fashion.
Im a little bit confused as to why people gave you donations for having haircut that made you look so good…. if you ever did a charity event like this again you should at least let people throw cream pies at your face so they get there moneys worth just kidding. What you did for charity was so kind of you.

Hi James, thank you for the lovely comments! A crime against fashion, that cracks me up! So basically I had always wanted a buzzcut, but my friends, knowing my tendency toward impulsiveness suggested I make it into a fundraiser, just in case I later regretted it! This was several years ago, but I still get tempted to get a no1 cut again, it was pretty easy getting ready in the morning let me tell you!
Hey someone sent me a link to this post. Im a hairdresser and Id say you were totally born for super short hair! Your a great example of how short hair can make someone look more feminine as have really great cheekbones and the sharpness of your buzzed hair really sharpens the cheekbones up making your whole face look more elegant. I don’t know what your hair is like at the moment but you totally rock this look. If not buzzed for your next hair style you should definitely try a mia farrow (maybe shorter round the sides as that what gives definition) also accessories like nose studs also really compliment the look do you have one?

I just got back from holiday and I got your message! Thanks so much, it’s nice to hear that from a hairdresser! I have really long hair now (if you note the date of this post you’ll see why!) and just yesterday I saw a woman with a buzzcut and I was reminiscing. I loved going through all the different stages of growing it back! Thanks for inspiring me!

Hi you look a million times better with buzzed hair (no offense if you have long hair now but you do 🙂 ) I think that if you have the face for it buzzed hair can really make you look like a top model.
I came across this post after searching for female “models with shaved hair” on google because I am trying to find some beautiful examples for one of my friends who has cancer and chemo is coming up very soon for her. I am trying to keep her up beat and telling her that hair isn’t everything and infact you can look a lot better without it if you no how.. unfortunately I dont know how… have you got a youtube channel or something where you can tell her how to look so amazing without hair? Though probably would require you to having buzzed hair again but you would totally look number 1 with a number 1 😉 would be awesome if you did.. you could even get on justgiving.com and raise some money.

I really like my long hair too it’s crazy wild and curly. Still I forget how long it takes! The major pro is just getting ready in like 30mins less time. Depends on your original hair. I say go for it at least the once!!
You look better with buzzed hair. Why settle for boring long hair why not go buzzed again? 😀 I see that there are some pretty amazing curly wigs out there that look super good why not just settle for both worlds 😉

How I came across your blog was like this…I was looking for hair inspiration and well one of the picture from this post came up on google image search and I clicked on it and it took me here. It seems the google bot likes your pic and seems to think your the one of best buzzcut girl around and not wrong 🙂

Hey I am just messaging you to say wow and I thought it would be nice (give you a little boost confidence) to tell you that I showed this post to one of my friends who works as a photographer and has done shoots for instyle and Glamour magazine (so she obviously knows what she is talking about) and she says that you could easily be a top model with your look and if your in Manchester she will get you into a fashion magazine if you want.
Well… we are pretty much in awe with your look over here in Manchester! I think your its your shaved hair that really makes you stand out and look so good! Also your hair gives you much more versatility than models with long hair who are stuck with one type of look…whilst you can experiment with a whole range of different looks as it wont be just your hair defining everything. So dont loose the buzz cut.

Hey found this blog after someone pinned one your pics on a pintrest hair inspiration board. Im always so envious when I see women with buzzcuts walking around in town the buzzcut is such a gorgeous look if you can pull it off.
I have naturally curly hair too and im so tempted to shave it off now or go for a super short pixie..which do I choose?!
Im getting older and there is something about curly hair that is so aging. Plus it takes so long to style and maintain your options with curly hair are you can either opt for small bush or bigger bush… and once you finally get it looking okay a gust of wind then blows it all over the place and then you end up having a matted tumbleweed look.
When you went buzz did you find you could do a lot more styles and looks? I guess with short hair you can have a lot more fun with makeup!
Also with a buzzcut is it easy to alternate from buzzcut to pixie and then back to buzzcut again? with long hair switching hair styles would takes years…
Hey thanks for your kind comments! I’ve long hair again now and it did take ages to grow back since my curly hair is tight but I enjoyed every stage of it. I would go the whole hog if I were you then pixie cut will be just one stage. Your comments made me laugh you’re right curly hair is high maintenance even if you’re not and can get scraggly easily!! But go for it and good luck. As for piercings I’m not sure I just have some fake ones since (ironically for someone who has a buZzcut) feels like to much conmitment!!
I have a nose stud it really isnt a huge commitment as you can take it out so easily and simply but it looks great anyway if I do say so myself so I never do. You should go for it you would really suit one you know you wanna 😉

so I was hunting for hair inspiration for a buzzcut because im so tempted to go for one! I found your blog via pinintrest if I remember correctly.. or somewhere where someone mentioned to have a peek at this amazing buzzcut hair inspiration.
If you dont mind me asking when you are rebuzzing are you doing it for just a one off or is it a start of a new exciting image and for long terms keeps? It would be awesome if you kept it for good and then did a buzzcut styling blog section or something along those lines. would be so cool! Also if you are keeping the buzzcut longterm what are your plans for maintenance are you just going to be going to the hairdressers every so often or are you rebuzzing it yourself with your own clippers when ever the mood takes you??

You said above to someone else in the comments that your planning on going back to having a buzzcut.. firstly I must say that I think your doing the right thing because you look gorgeous with your hair buzzed! Are you planning on keeping it permanently like that when you have it done? You should give that some serious thought because why loose such an unbelievable and low maintenance hair style?

Hi thought id give you a guys perspective on your hair (we are after all 50% of the population 😉 )… well I say you look far far more attractive with shaved hair. I dont know why but you just do! Maybe its the way it brings out your face and makes you look super hot or something who knows ;P

Hi, was just wondering do you feel more you with shaved hair and as though it is the look and identity you were meant to have? If so would you say you prefer your hair shaved and dont see yourself ever going back to long hair again (what would be the point because you look so much better with shaved hair it would actually be a step backwards if you grew your hair long again)?? 🙂
It’s actually long at the moment. Having big curly hair has become quite an identity. I’m going to get buzzed again soon because I miss it so will be interesting to see if and how it changes perceptions!

I wish I didnt have an oddly cucumber shaped head then Id go for it too. Your so lucky your one of those girls where it looks totally gorgeous n I agree with comment above super short just a subtle hint of hair would suit you so much as you have olive skin + incredible cheek bones !! I think you look great with shaved hair! I think your whole face shape and features suit very short hair the best you should vary your hair between shaved and pixie for versatility… for example have your hair shaved super short for a couple months and then grow it into a pixie like this http://jsemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/30-short-pixie-hairstyles-2013-2014-short-hairstyles-2015-very-short-pixie-hairstyles-2016.jpg and then shave it again after a while 🙂

isnt it illegal to look that good? I am so loving your shaved hair. You mentioned above to someone else that you are wanting to go buzzed for “good” does that mean you would making the shaved look permanent? IMO I think that would be such a good idea because it really does suit you, makes you look more vibrant and distinguished, plus when you get older you wont have to worry about your hair going grey and straw like.

Wow you do look good with shaved hair! I recently shaved my hair and havnt looked back since! If you do it again you should go razor smooth like me as it really does make your features look amazing and if you have olive skin it just is the most gorgous look ever 🙂

Also what I do to maintain it is have a really soothing and relaxing bath every sunday and shave my hair whilst in the bath its the easyiest and most realxing thing ever and if you use smelly shaving cream your head smells really nice.
What do you think? Have I convinced you smooth is best hairstyle ever? I say go for it and dont look back because that beautifull bald women looking back at you in the mirror is you!

You should do it as a mini fundraiser at your house or something.. you dont even need to invite anyone and then post it on facebook live with regular tweets and get your friends to donate via fundraiser page whislt you do it. I know with my friends that they need atleast 4 years notice to come to any of my mini events or get togethers.
Also you should put together a mini makeover video or something like those on the tv with a big reveal at the end.. would be epic! Sometimes you just gotta be spontaneous and proactive with these things and go for it! I “DARE you to post on facebook that your shaving your head tommorow donations please” and with that youll have a suprised attack and get more peopels intrest and donations 🙂 go for it!!!!!!!!

I think there is so much more personality in shaved hair! With yours not only do you look so stunning as it really makes your features look so good but also I think it relfects your personality & individuality. 🙂 Did you keep this look? do you prefer shaved hair or long hair???? Imagine how stylish you would be when your 50+ and everyone else has really dry grey scraggy hair but theres you looking amazing with shaved hair because I have seen older women with shaved hair rock the shaved hair look and sometimes wrinckles just add even more character.. tis best way to age gracefully in my opinion.

Nice tips I never thought of hair removal cream on my head!! I don’t use shampoo anyway!
no problem 🙂 It would be a much easier way of keeping your hair smooth and looking aamzing for as long as you want without having to keep on shaving but when you want to mix things up a bit and go for a buzzcut all you do is stop using the cream and your hair grows back as normal a couple days later 🙂

You can you just have to beleive in yourself as that the only thing thats going to hold you back. You have fab/brilliant/stunning/perfect features that look aamzing with shaved hair its all about taking the next leap and and going for smooth shave.. it will grow within a few days anyway but you will never know unless you go for it. You will look aamzing I can guarentee it!
